North Fort Myers is an unincorporated area northwest of Fort Myers across the Caloosahatchee River in northern Lee County, Florida.
The area is part of the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
To the west and southwest of North Fort Myers is the city of Cape Coral, and to the north is Charlotte County. The north and northeast sides of North Fort Myers are also hemmed in by vast nature reserves, including:

- Fred C. Babcock/Cecil M. Webb Wildlife Management Area
- Babcock Ranch Preserve
- Bob Janes Preserve
All told, North Fort Myers covers approximately 54.4 square miles, of which about 50.6 are land.
North Fort Myers Transport & Directions
The I-75 Highway (State Road 93) runs through North Fort Myers from Sarasota to Naples. Sarasota is approximately 75 minutes north of North Fort Myers, while Naples is 1 hour to the south.
The I-75 connects to North Fort Myers' business district via Florida State Road 78, connecting to the US Route 41 near Palmona Park and Salvista. Route 78 turns into Pine Island Road as it travels southwest, and is the main access point to Cape Coral for North Fort Myers residents.
North Fort Myers residents can access Sanibel Island in just over 45 minutes, and Estero Island - home to Fort Myers Beach - in a little under an hour.
Fort Myers proper is just across the Caloosahatchee River to the southwest, via the Caloosahatchee Bridge.
